Yoga with Ana Feord

The session this morning is a gentle connection to your body. The word yoga is loaded with as many meanings as there are people, so I like to simplify the experience, into “taking the time to have a conversation (sensory, not verbal) with your body and breath, in the same way as you would a friend with whom you care deeply and are curious about.”

Does that sound anything like how we could perhaps come into relationship with the earth and all beings? How often do you engage in the experience of your body without judgement and with tender enquiry? It can be as simple as feeling the souls of your feet touching the mat and bringing your full awareness to that experience. I look forward to meeting you there.

Some yoga mats available. If you can bring your own, please do.

About Ana
I have had 25 years’ experience with yoga and working somatically, with some specific work in trauma informed environments. I currently facilitate two sessions a week from my bush home in the Upper mountains.
Most of my learning has come via my own continuing path, from dissociation to connection, that as a collective I feel we are all being asked to walk in whatever way that fits. Although I have taken formal training, I like to use a diverse, intuitive approach.

Ana has donated this yoga session for the community as part of the Festival of Resilience.
