Imagining & Developing a Wellbeing Economy for the Blue Mountains Together
An Action for Community and Environment (ACE) workshop for the Festival of Resilience.
Is it possible for us in the Blue Mountains to survive the uncertain future we face with climate change? Perhaps even to thrive?
We think we can! Join us as we start exploring the possibilities:
- Could we change aspects of our current economic system? What is a Gift economy? A Circular economy? LETS?
- Could we create more caring businesses, such as community co-ops and social enterprises?
- Could we communicate better across our 27 towns and villages?
- Could we work towards food self-sufficiency with eg. community gardens, sharing the excess food we grow?
