The Living Future Insitute of Australia is part of the global movement revolutionising the built environment with buildings, infrastructure and community spaces that are more than green, but regenerative.
We would like to invite Blue Mountains community members to a free public talk on biophilic design – the practice of connecting people and the natural world of which people are part, within our built environments and communities.
The talk is presented as part of the Oceania Biophilia Summit (OBS) 2022 which will be held at Hotel Etico in Mount Victoria. The OBS is an exploration of our innate connection to nature and each other that enables built environment professionals to delve into the biophilic design philosophy and collaborate to shape effective connection experiences in our built environment.
This free public talk will introduce the elements and attributes of biophilic design more broadly, before a more focused discussion on this year’s OBS theme of ‘Soundscapes’.
This talk is open to all members of the public.
